This is a hard weekend. After 13 years of having this awesome dog in our lives, my family had to say goodbye to Rommel. I feel even sadder not being able to be in NY during this time, but I also feel better knowing that the last memory I have of him, he was still in his prime. It’s hard to imagine what my family looks like without him in the picture. He’s been the leader of the pack and has always done an incredible job protecting our family and our home. Before I left, I got to watch him start to delegate some of his duties and responsibilities over to Ranger as Rommel got older. That was pretty incredible to watch.

Rest easy, Rommel. Thank you for everything you’ve done for us and for making our lives so much better.
